Private AI file checks for small law firms: waitlist only
The problem: Small law firms check contracts and client files against the same list of points, again and again. It is careful, repeated work.
Where we stand: Law is a regulated profession. We will not handle real client data until we have taken legal advice. For now, this industry is on a waitlist only. We do not offer by-hand reviews to law firms, and we do not offer a tool.
Why it has to stay private#
Client confidentiality sits at the heart of legal work, and professional rules apply on top of it. Running AI on your own machine, with nothing sent to a cloud service, can reduce the number of places a file travels. It does not decide whether using AI on client files is allowed. Only your regulator and your own legal advice can do that.
We are not lawyers, and nothing on this page is legal advice.
What the tool checks#
Nothing yet. We have not built a checklist for law firms, and we will not invent one. We cannot build one from real client documents until we have the right advice, so any early work would use fictional documents only.
What we can show today is how laptops perform on two related jobs, with fictional test documents:
- Contract summaries
- Handbook Q&A: finding answers inside a long document
These tests show how a laptop handles the work. They do not show whether a tool would be right for a law firm.
