Private AI document checks for letting agents and property managers
The problem: Letting agents and property managers handle tenancy agreements and inventory or check-out reports all the time. Each document has to be checked for gaps before it is signed or filed. Our starting assumption is that this repeated check is a good fit for a tool. We have not tested that with real agencies yet.
Why it has to stay private#
Tenancy files name people and hold details about their homes. Rules about personal data differ from country to country, so check the rules where you work before you use any AI tool on tenant records, including one that runs locally. We are not lawyers, and nothing on this page is legal advice.
We are planning a tool that runs on your own computer only. It is designed to listen on your own machine, to send no usage data, and to make no cloud calls. It is not built for this industry yet.
What the tool checks#
We have not written a checklist for these documents, and we will not invent one here. It has to come from reading real documents and writing down what keeps going wrong. We will publish it after that work is done.
What we can show today is how laptops perform at summarising a long agreement, with a fictional test contract: contract summaries. It shows how a laptop handles that kind of job. It does not show how well a finished tool would work for your agency.
